Olameter Careers

In good shape? Like working outdoors? Think about a career as a meter reader. You will need a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. You may walk up to 10 miles a day as you visit various sites. You will be required to check that the meter is ok and the site is safe. Then you will enter meter readings into a handheld data capture device. You will be handling some people’s keys and occasionally meet with customers or their pets. You will need to speak English well, while any additional languages are a definite bonus. We will test your proficiency and, if you qualify, train you to read meters. We currently have openings for gas and electric meter readers in: 

• Arkansas City
• Manhattan
• Salina

You will need a driver's license and a clean driving record, though you might end up walking as much as 10k a day as you visit various sites. You will be required to carry out and adhere to all Olameter Collections processes at all times. You will also need to accept and complete all daily assignments/tasks as deemed reasonable. You will need to speak English well, while any skills in French or Spanish are a definite bonus. We will test your proficiency and, if you qualify, train you to do collections. We currently have openings in:
